My name is Becky Bowler. I am a Certified Pet Massage Therapist. My business started as a mobile service to the Mercer County area. I am proud to announce that I am opening an office in the Premier Animal Care Center, located at 5 Edgewood Drive, Greenville PA. This is the Transfer-Reynolds area. I hope to help more cats and dogs have a better quality of life.
Using my hands, I gently work the muscles using light, medium and heavy pressure. This increases circulation, breaks up friction in the muscles and can aid in decreasing inflammation. It can be used as a preventative or as a support to healing. It can be used simply as a relaxation technique or aiding a pet that has weakness in muscles due to age or injury.
My mission is to use pet massage therapy to keep your dog or cat feeling good or to aid them in healing. I want your dog or cat to leave the session feeling better. I make your pet’s experience comfortable and relaxing and I welcome you to stay with your cat or dog during the massage. I will work with you to find the massage that fits your pet’s needs.
My education was through Brandenburg Massage Therapy. Many many hours were dedicated to learning the skill and knowledge of canine massage. Intense hands-on training honed my massage techniques. I became a Certified Canine Massage Therapist in April 2021. I have since expanded my massage skills to cats. I am constantly educating myself on new and different techniques. Over the past two years I have had the pleasure of working with many pets and their humans. I developed wonderful relationships with both. I am looking forward to expanding my business and meeting more pets and their humans.
I’m pleased to announce that I will be

Massages can take 15, 20 or 30 minutes depending on what best suits your pet and what you desire your pet to have. A list of massages available and a description of each can be found by going to www.vagaro.com/healinghandspetmassage.
Massages vary in price depending on the intensity and time frame. Prices range from $8.00 to $40.00. House calls are at the high end of pricing due to travel time and cost. Relaxing/soothing massages are at the lower end due to a shorter time frame and less intensity. Cost saving massages are available to those needing to schedule multiple visits or those having more than one pet in the family needing a massage.
Details of all massages, along with pricing can be found at www.vagaro.com/healinghandspetmassage
Absolutely NOT. In fact, the first few times your dog is massaged, he or she may want to stand or sit. Your dog may not want to stay still for the duration. That is fine. I work on their terms! After the 3rd massage, they will know the routine and more than likely lay down and relax. No worries!
Yes and no. Cats have the same muscle groups as dogs, therefore the same muscles are massaged. However, cats usually only tolerate the light pressure, which is why I only offer soothing massages for cats. Cats find their comfort zones differently than dogs and can be more fearful of their surroundings. I like cat parents to be present for massages because they help provide a relaxing environment for their pet.
Massages will take place in my office. It is a comfortable and relaxing space. I have a massage table or a big mat for the floor. I will massage your pet where he or she is most comfortable. I have a bench for the humans too!
Absolutely. In fact, I encourage it. Children are welcome as well. I do try to keep the environment quiet and relaxed. There are books, magazines and coloring books for children and adults. Quiet conversation is welcome as well. Seating for 2 is available.
After a massage, your dog or cat may need a nice drink and a chance to go potty. Then, they may settle down for a nice long nap. On some occasions your pet may have a burst of energy before settling down for a long nap. Also, your pet may be a little sore the following day if they had a full massage. If you are doing multiple massages, after 3, your pet should not be sore the next day.
